Upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, guests will personally be met by Morakane Safari Lodge staff and transported to our private game ranch.

Guests are accommodated in luxury thatched lodges with a rustic finish, adding to the African atmosphere. All lodges are air-conditioned, en-suite and equipped with electricity and all the comforts of home to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. A selection of bath sheets, bath towels, hand towels and face cloths as well as all linen are changed daily.

All our lodges are of the highest standards to ensure a comfortable and memorable safari. Daily laundry services are available.

South African cuisine (mainly venison) is served either in the main lodge next to the swimming pool with a view of the African Bush, or in the Boma beside crackling fires, where quests may experience the sounds of the African night under starlit skies. All meals are accompanied by excellent South African wines.

For guests who are not too keen on venison, more traditional meats can also be served. Vegetarians will be taken care of just as well!

Please inform our reservations department upon reservation of any special dietary requirements.

All water in the camp is filtered to the highest standards and is guaranteed perfectly safe for drinking.

Guests at Morakane Safari Lodge are assured of personalised service by a staff to guest ratio of 3 to 1. Professionalism and strict maintenance of accommodation, equipment and vehicles are of paramount importance to us.

Guests can stay in our main lodge which has 2 Double rooms with 1 double bed and 2 single beds in each room, as well as 2 single rooms with 4 single beds in each room, or choose one of 4 thatched cabins which each have 2 single beds.
